Friendship
Baptist Church
Our History
Friendship Baptist Church was constituted in 1828 with 13 members and joined the Flint River Baptist Association on October 20th of that year. In 1905, John and Mack Barrow gave 4 acres of ground on which to relocate the church to its former site. The original building was erected as a one-room auditorium seating 200 worshipers. In 1980, the current church building was built, across the road, and it will seat up to 500 people. Friendship is one of the oldest still active Churches in the Southeast.
